About our Church: Here, you will find kind and compassionate people that want for you to be everything God intends for you to be. We strive to help every human to live to their fullest potential in Christ Jesus. We live by the creed They Will Know We Are Christians by our Love.
We hope you will visit us in person or sample part of one of our services on MCA-TV at 7:00 PM on Saturday nights (Verizon ch. 35/Comcast ch. 14). We look forward to meeting you in person.
About our Pastor:
Rev. Greg Kasler has been our pastor since February of 2017. He grew up in Canton, Ohio, where he attended Canton First Church of the Nazarene, and met his best friend and wife, Lisa, as a teenager. Pastor Greg (PG) is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has served as both a youth pastor and a senior pastor in Ohio & West Virginia before coming to us. He and his wife, Lisa are proud parents to 3 adult children (Geoff, Lynea, & Lauren) and have 2 granddaughters (Capri & Elody.)
PG says: “I believe, above all, that the church is called to take the love of God to the world around us. That starts with our family and loved ones and extends beyond, to our co-workers, our neighbors, and the world around us. God loves us just the way we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way!” We are called to make Christ-like disciples wherever we are!
Church of the Nazarene agreed statement of belief:
We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that humans are born with a fallen nature, and therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
